Rebuilding Equipment Video Presentation
Bakery & Catering equipment rebuilding is a Miller’s Vanguard specialism, where we can boast industry-leading experience in extending the working life of a wide range of food preparation and production machinery.
Historically many stores and outlets have prematurely replaced failing machinery with new. Our customers are able to replace failing machinery with fully rebuilt devices at a fraction of the cost of new, which saves £millions per year.
The rebuilding process involves a total strip-down of the equipment to component level, thereafter all parts are caustically cleansed in our bespoke alkaline tanks, jet washed then completely re-painted in our dedicated spray booths.
Each piece is then meticulously examined and an assessment made as to which parts are: fit for re-use, need reconditioning or need to be replaced with new. Based on our many years of experience a number of heavily used key components are replaced as a standard.
Ultimately no machine is allowed to leave our workshop before being ‘soak-tested’ for a minimum of 8 hours and, where appropriate, must have been intensively tested with dough.
Once the machine has completely passed our exacting pre-delivery inspection process it is then shrink-wrapped and stored in our ‘available equipment warehouse’ ready for a 48-hour delivery service anywhere in the UK mainland.
