MILLER’S VANGUARD DELIVERS NEW TOYS TO PLAYROOM AT FAIRFIELD HOSPITAL

Bury based maintenance provider, Miller’s Vanguard has this week delivered all the new toys for the newly refurbished playroom at Fairfield Hospital. Miller’s Vanguard responded to an appeal put out by Key 103's breakfast show 'Toolan in the Morning' back in April for donations of toys for Fairfield Hospital in Bury.

Coming to the rescue by donating £2000 to buy toys with, Mike and Chelsea from Key 103 got Woolworths involved, agreeing to let them spend the £2000 with a mad trolley dash. The pair tore up the aisles trolleys buying hundreds of toys, which have this week been delivered to the hospital.

The playroom was seriously damaged by the floods, which also led to all the toys being incinerated and needed to completely re-furbished. The room is now complete and the pile of toys is proud in the corner waiting to be played with by the sick children.
