Miller’s Vanguard – part of the Aga Foodservice Equipment Group – has introduced a fleet of new generation foodservice equipment maintenance vans with a ‘supermarket-friendly’ design.
Gone are the days of the dirty work’s van. Miller’s Vanguard’s supermarket-friendly van, which carries the image of the smartly dressed service engineer, is expected to set a new standard in the industry. The 50-strong fleet, which is used by over 150 service engineers, has been designed with Miller’s Vanguard’s core customer base in mind - supermarket giants Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Somerfield and Kwik Save. All new vehicles incorporate door chevrons to alert both staff and supermarket customers of opening vehicle doors. A flashing light and siren warns when the vehicle is reversing.

The new supermarket-friendly van is an extension of Miller’s Vanguard’s core philosophy - considering the customer’s needs first. The vans look professional and efficient on the supermarket’s forecourt and the innovative safety features give the supermarket confidence that its customers are not put in any danger while the engineer is taking tools and parts out of the van.
Said Brent Miller, Miller’s Vanguard’s Managing Director: “As a leading specialist maintenance provider it is vital for Miller’s Vanguard to continually adapt to its customers’ needs. The supermarket-friendly van is yet another unique, added-value service offering.”
Miller’s Vanguard provides specialist maintenance for bakery & catering equipment and is a business name of the AFE Group - the market leader in the domestic and commercial catering equipment industry.
